Terms of Service of Jeune et Jolie MediSpa

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all services, packages, memberships, products, and consultations provided by Jeune et Jolie MediSpa (“we,” “us,” “our”) to clients (“you,” “client”). By booking, purchasing, or receiving any service or package, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

1. Scope of Services

We provide professional aesthetic and medispa services, including but not limited to acne treatments, chemical peels, Hydrafacials, and customized skincare programs. Services are performed based on individual skin assessments and professional judgment.

Results are not guaranteed and may vary from client to client.

2. Client Eligibility

Clients must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have written parental/guardian consent.

  • Provide accurate medical and skincare history.

  • Inform us of any changes in health, medications, pregnancy, or skin conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if treatment is deemed unsafe.

3. Consultation and Consent

All clients must complete an intake form and sign an informed consent before receiving treatment. You acknowledge that:

  • You have disclosed all relevant health information.

  • You understand potential risks and side effects.

  • You accept responsibility for following post-treatment instructions.

Failure to disclose information may affect results and safety.

4. Treatment Results

We do not guarantee specific results. Skin response varies due to genetics, lifestyle, hormones, compliance, and other factors beyond our control.

Progress requires consistency, proper home care, and adherence to recommendations.

5. Agreement to Terms Upon Purchase of Packages or Services

By completing any purchase of a package, single service, membership, prepaid service, or promotional offer — whether in-person, by phone, or online — you confirm that you have read and fully agree to these Terms of Service. Purchase constitutes your binding acceptance of all policies contained herein, including but not limited to the cancellation, refund, and expiry policies set out below.

No refunds, chargebacks, or reversals will be accepted on the basis of claimed unawareness of these Terms. These Terms are available at all times at: jeunejolie.ca/terms-of-service-of-jeune-et-jolie/

6. Packages, Memberships, and Promotions

The following policies apply to all packages, memberships, prepaid services, and promotions:

  • All packages, memberships, and prepaid services are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions expire after this period with no credit or refund issued.

  • No refunds will be issued for partially used packages, regardless of reason, including but not limited to: change of mind, relocation, medical reasons not disclosed at time of purchase, dissatisfaction with results, or failure to schedule appointments.

  • Promotions and discounted services cannot be combined unless explicitly stated in writing.

  • Store credit may be offered at the sole discretion of management and is not guaranteed.

  • Package sessions may not be shared with or transferred to another person.

7. Appointment Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking

Appointments may require a deposit at our discretion.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) will be charged a $35 fee.

  • No-shows will be charged a $35 fee. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of booking privileges.

Late Arrivals

Arriving 10 or more minutes late may result in the appointment being treated as a late cancellation and the applicable $35 fee being charged. We cannot guarantee that late-arriving clients will receive the full treatment within the remaining time.

8. Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prepaid.

  • We accept approved payment methods only.

  • Outstanding balances must be settled before future bookings will be confirmed.

  • We reserve the right to charge stored payment methods for applicable fees (e.g., late cancellation, no-show).

9. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Jeune et Jolie MediSpa does not issue refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Completed services

  • Partially used or fully unused packages

  • Missed or cancelled appointments

  • Dissatisfaction with results due to lack of client compliance with pre- or post-care instructions

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Inability to continue services due to scheduling conflicts, relocation, or personal circumstances

  • Medical conditions not disclosed at the time of purchase

By purchasing any service or package, you expressly acknowledge and agree that no refund will be issued for any reason. Any chargeback or payment dispute initiated against Jeune et Jolie MediSpa in contravention of these Terms will be contested, and we reserve the right to recover associated fees and costs.

Store credit may be issued at management’s sole discretion as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute an entitlement or precedent.

10. Product Sales

  • Opened or used products are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Unopened products may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase with original receipt.

  • Defective products may be replaced at our discretion upon verification.

11. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Follow all pre- and post-care instructions provided by our team.

  • Use recommended home-care products.

  • Avoid contraindicated treatments, activities, or products.

  • Protect treated skin with sunscreen as directed.

  • Communicate any concerns promptly and before the next treatment session.

Non-compliance with these responsibilities may compromise results and safety. No refunds or credits will be issued due to non-compliance.

12. Medical Disclaimer

Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment by a licensed physician. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Clients with underlying medical concerns should seek appropriate medical advice prior to receiving services.

13. Adverse Reactions and Complications

Possible side effects include, but are not limited to: redness, peeling, sensitivity, breakouts, and hyperpigmentation. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge these risks and release Jeune et Jolie MediSpa from liability when established protocols are followed.

14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Non-compliance with treatment or policy guidelines

  • Aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior toward staff

  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows

  • Failure to disclose relevant health information

In such cases, no refunds will be issued for any remaining sessions or prepaid services.

15. Photography and Marketing

With your written consent, we may take before-and-after photographs for documentation and marketing purposes. Photos will not be used publicly without your prior written authorization.

16. Personal Belongings

Jeune et Jolie MediSpa is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought onto our premises.

17. Privacy Policy

All client information is confidential and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including PIPEDA. We do not share personal data without consent, except as required by law.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeune et Jolie MediSpa, its owner, practitioners, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of results, or dissatisfaction with services.

Our total liability, if any, arising from or related to any service, treatment, product, or consultation, shall be strictly limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

By receiving services, you acknowledge that all treatments carry inherent risks and that results may vary. You voluntarily assume these risks and release Jeune et Jolie MediSpa from liability when services are provided in accordance with professional standards and established protocols.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jeune et Jolie MediSpa, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Incomplete or inaccurate disclosure of health information

  • Failure to follow pre- or post-care instructions

  • Misuse of products

  • Violation of these Terms

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

21. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted in-clinic and at jeunejolie.ca/terms-of-service-of-jeune-et-jolie/. Continued use of services or purchase of any product or package after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
